Booking
A booking is only confirmed once the deposit payment has been received and a booking form is filled out, either by form or on-line. Once submitted the Party leader confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions and is binding on behalf of all party’s intending to occupy Magnolia Dream at the time of booking. (or subsequent amendments to that intention) Only names on the booking form may occupy Magnolia Dream. Up to 12 guests maximum may stay.
To ensure the comfort, piece of mind and security of our guests we are fully licensed and registered by the Florida state. Our home is maintained and in full compliance with all relevant legislation.
Restrictions
No parties where all guests are under the age of 21 will be accepted.
No pets under any circumstances are permitted to stay at Magnolia Dream.
For the comfort of all guests there is no smoking allowed in the villa at all.
However this is allowed by the pool / patio area, providing you use the ashtrays provided. This condition is strictly enforced.
No sub-letting is permitted.
Rental Period
The rental period generally runs from Saturday to Saturday however other days are available upon request. Check in time on the first day is at 4pm local time and departure time is 10am local time on the last day. This can be changed as long as agreement has been sort prior to your stay. If permission has not been sort then a charge will be incurred for the extra work put on the Management team.
For stays of 6 nights or less will incur a cleaning fee of £62 or $105.
Payment
Once your reservation has been made you need to send together the booking form and a non-refundable 20% deposit of the full cost. (pool heat is optional and not included in the deposit) This needs to be within seven days. Upon receipt of your deposit we will confirm your booking. Payment for the balance is due 10 weeks prior to the date of your vacation. Once payment has been received directions and details to Magnolia Dream will be sent.
Payment Method
Payment can be made by cheque/check credit card via our management company (Please note 4 percent administration charge for this service) or by Paypal (please note there is a 3 percent charge for this service)
Security Deposit
As you will be greeted at the villa by our management company and shown around to see all is in order, we ask you for a 200GBP or 375USD security deposit. This will be credit card swipe taken (unless previously paid to us direct) by the management team. On your day of departure the management team will return and confirm all is in order for your departure.
If for any reason you are not meet on arrival, please take note of any concerns and raise this with the management within 24 hours.
The party leader is solely responsible for all breakages and damage that may occur in Magnolia Dream during your stay, by any members of your party (or visitors you invite to the home.)
Claims against your deposit may include:-
- Additional cleaning costs for removal of stains, arising from spillages.
- Excessive use of electricity due to leaving patio doors or windows open with air conditioning on.
- Magnolia Dream is a non smoking villa which we are sure will be enforced. Should there be any damage by smoking or odours within the villa a charge will be made to rectify this problem. We do permit smoking by the pool but once again any damage will be charged for.
- We reserve the right to retain part or full of the security deposit to cover damage, missing items, loss or non return of keys. Should we need to do so we will provide receipts for the cost off any repairs.
- Florida is a sub-tropical climate and care must be taken with food that is left uncovered and with garbage disposal. If extra pest control measures are needed because of lack of care or non-observance of garbage collection we may deduct some of your security deposit.
- We reserve the right to pursue you for any cost of damage, replacement, missing items caused by you, any members of your party that exceeds the security deposit .
In the event of non-payment (with-in 14 days of notice) we will seek legal action though either English or American courts.
Cancellation by Guests
In the event you need to cancel your booking for any reason the following charges will apply:-
- Cancellation within the final ten weeks of your holiday/vacation will regrettably result in the loss of your booking deposit.
- Cancellation between six to ten weeks will loss 50 percent of your total booking costs. (not including any security deposit if paid).
- Cancellation less than six weeks will regrettably incur the loss of the full booking cost.
We strongly advice you to take out holiday insurance to cover any cancellation charges incurred due to illness, injury, etc. Take this out at the time of booking as it is an in expensive insurance and well worth the few £ or $ it costs for peace of mind.
Cancellation by Owner
In the unlikely event that personal circumstances necessitate cancellation of the booking, we will refund all monies paid by the party (without interest, compensation or consequential loss of any kind) However, the management company will always seek to relocate your booking to a home of similar or superior standard.
Force Majeure
The owners and the Mangement company accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage or alterations to the terms of this booking caused by events beyond the owners’ control including, but not limited to, war, civil commotion, flight delays or cancellations, technical difficulties with transportation, alteration or cancellation of schedules by carriers, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, industrial dispute or any other event beyond our control.
Security and Safety
The swimming pool is used entirely at your own risk. No diving is permitted in the pool. Children MUST be supervised at all times whilst in the pool area. There is a child saftey fence that should be in place at all times when the pool is not in use.
Glasses and crockery MUST not be used in the pool deck area, there is plastic items provided for this area.
We accept no liability whatsoever for any pool or poolside accidents and neither will the management company.
Magnolia Dream is an Alarmed home and this should be activated each time you leave the home.
Disclaimer
We and this includes our management company do not accept any liability for any of the following:-
- Any electrical or mechanical failure to any machine, e.g. pool related equipment, air conditioning equipment, domestic appliances, water heater.
- Personal injury or accidents occasioned by the guests or their visitors at the property, in the pool or grounds, however caused.
- Loss or damage to possessions or effects brought onto the property, including motor vehicles.
- Medical expenses, however incurred.
- Illness, hospitalisation or death.
- It is the responsibility of the party to exercise a duty of care at all times and party leaders should ensure that all their party follow the comprehensive operational and safety instructions relating to the use of facilities and equipment, familiarize themselves with the fire procedure displayed in the home and confirm that all persons using the home are adequately covered by appropriate personal accident, injury, public liability insurance.
- The owners and their agents reserve the right of entry at any time, (including pool maintenance workers, gardeners and related trades).
Complaints
In the unlikely event of a problem arising during your stay, you must immediately contact the mangament team who will endevour to do their best to resolve the issue at the earliest opportunity. We stive to make your holiday/vacation the best memorys ever and your satisfaction is of the up-most importance to us.
Please note we cannot accept any responsibility for any issues that may have arisen which have not been reported to the management team during your stay.
Internet
A high speed WiFi Internet connection is provided for the guests. This is a FREE service. We will endeavour to ensure that this service is available for use. We cannot be held responsible for any failures or non-availability of communication lines, hardware or software.
Departure Details/Keys
Approximately two weeks prior to your arrival you will be provided with the directions from Orlando or Sandford airport to Magnolia Dream Villa and information regarding access to the Villa keys.
